Advanced soil mapping to assess soil variability across your property
Soil texture can have a profound effect on water holding capacity, nutrient retention and productive potential. Gaining a greater understanding of these factors can lead to improved resource use efficiency and also help to ensure sustainable land use.
Carrfields Technology will conduct a soil survey of your property and provide
you with a comprehensive report containing:
Soil Electrical Conductivity at four depths (EcA)
0 – 50 cm, 50 – 70 cm, 70 – 90 cm and 90 – 110 cm
GPS Position Data
Elevation, slope and aspect
Additionally, variables such as wetness index can also be derived from the measurements that we take. Variables such as these can be used to assess areas that are vulnerable to leaching and can also be used as a base map
for any land forming activities (cut/fill).
